Pocket
folders can be made in a variety of sizes, styles, and colors.
At Advanced Color Graphics, we can design,
review and finalize your custom-design.
If
you are designing a project that will require a custom dieline
that will be submitted to Advanced Color Graphics, please read
the following:

1.
The maximum dimension of a dieline including any tabs is 18.75" x
28.25"
2.
Parallel lines, either scores or cuts must be at least 0.3125" apart.
If lines are any closer together, the material may not eject
from the die without tearing.
3.
Long narrow shapes that taper to a point will not eject without
tearing. If the shape is too narrow, open up the angle or shorten
the length or the taper to improve cutting. Please let Advanced
Color Graphics review your dieline if you believe this may
be an issue.
4.
The cost to create a die is influenced by the amount of cutting
blade required and the detail or complexity of the shape. The
more intricate the die, the more expensive it will be to produce.
5.
Your art will be used to make the die. Be sure your art is
accurate. Provide specific measurements and/or a mockup with
your file. Unless we find a problem, we will make the die exactly
as it is on the file.
For business card slits please reference
the following guide, for the best results.

Call Us to discuss your project. We can provide custom design or we'll review and finalize your design for great printing results!
Note: All
dieline templates represent actual working dies that have been proven
to work in production. However, we strongly recommend that you make
a dummy of your project using the template to make cuts and folds.
This process often reveals changes that need to be made either to
the design or to the dieline. If changes to the dieline will be required,
the project will need a "custom" die. Custom dies are an
additional cost but be assured that the staff at Advanced Color Graphics will review any changes or custom requirements to make the project
work perfectly from start to finish. |
